If you believe that all animals on this planet were vegetarian before the flood then I think you also have to believe that a very rapid form of evolution took place after the flood that transformed the bodies of many of these animals into killing machines.

Was it designed . . . TO KILL? The funnel-web spider. . .
by Lore inthe cow and the bear themselves will feed; together their young ones will lie down.
and even the lion will eat straw just like the bull.
and the sucking child will certainly play upon the hole of the cobra .

Could you eat breakfast after watching this at Bethel?
by Dogpatch inthis is a partial video of the morning breakfast table in brooklyn bethel in the late 80s, with lyman swingle hosting... the governing body member who at first tried to shelter ray franz from disfellowshipping, but then within a year or two his spirit was broken and he was a bitter man.. randy (i was there and it was death-dealing, like the death eaters from harry potter!).
address of windows media file if you don't see anything:.

Why leave? This forum need voices of sanity like yours. On the internet you can be whoever you choose to be unfortunately some choose to be rude mean and hurtful. One of the things I see here that really makes my head spin is when see a poster attack someone like Rick no holes barred then find out that in their real life they meekly attend the Kingdom Hall because they can't find the courage to take stand. If this forum is to have any real value it needs people who act the same way here as they would if you were facing them in person so please stick around.
BTW I went back and watched Rick's interview with you. I thought it was pretty cool.

Go easy on the women Outlaw. I don't know who the one on the right is but the one on the left is Joan Cetnar. Joan and her husband were the people most feared by JWs in Orange County California back when I was a JW. Scary stories about them were circulated around the Kingdom Halls in OC. After I left the Watchtower I had the opportunity to meet and hang out with them on several occassion. She is a very nice person and so was her husband.
I would have liked to attend one of those conventions but never got the chance. I guess never will now.

I'm in Orange County and like Noontide rarely venture in to LA even though it is close. This week I met CyberJesus for lunch in OC. We've met several times and we plan on doing it on a regular basis so let us know if you (or anyone else on this forum) are interested in joining us.

They started lying and rewriting their history right after 1914 when nothing they had been prophesying came true. And they have been lying and rewriting their history ever since. Like most liars they have trouble keeping their story straight and are forever saying things that contradict what they previously stated.

"Cemetery Witnessing" on Memorial Day
by Morbidzbaby ini've been wondering if this is just something that's done in my area, or if people do it all over.. every year on memorial day, a lot of people meet for fs and then when they break into groups, they all discuss which cemeteries they are going to "work".
every major cemetery in the city is divvied up.
the idea is, they take a stack of small tracts (usually the what hope for dead loved ones) and they basically park the car in the cemetery and walk around handing them out to the mourners.

I don't remember anyone doing that at the halls I attended doing that. I think most of the people at the halls I went to were a little more reasonable and didn't do the real obnoxious stuff like hanging around cemetaries bothering people. I guess we went out door knocking on Memorial Day. We used have congregation picnics on Memorial Day but I think the put a stop the that because it was fun.
